Project Manager

As a Project Manager you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end delivery of a number of projects aligned to JD's Transformation portfolio. This portfolio consists of a number of complex projects and programmes designed to deliver substantive change and business benefit across the JD Group in an exciting, fast paced, global, multi-fascia environment.

You will work closely with business stakeholders, other project managers, programme managers, programme directors, business analysts, operational teams, technology teams and suppliers to help the business implement our strategy and further enhance our market-leading multichannel offering.

What You'll Be Doing:

As a Project Manager, you'll be doing the following:

  • Lead and manage your project(s) to agreed time / cost / deliverable targets
  • Work with the business to create project proposals, project initiation documents, enhancement and change requests
  • Ensure objectives and scope are clearly understood, defined and documented
  • Create and maintain project plans, schedules, risks and issue logs
  • Identify all stakeholders, develop a communications strategy for each, manage expectations and be politically aware
  • Work closely with business analysts to ensure requirements are captured and validated at an appropriate level to provide effort estimates and plan delivery sprints

What We're Looking For:

  • 2+ years Project Management experience
  • Previous experience in an omnichannel retail environment is highly advantageous
  • Highly organised, able to work in a fast-paced environment and plan/manage time accordingly
  • Strong facilitation and influencing skills
  • Confidence, experience and knowledge to question stakeholders and delivery teams
