JERA Nex

We drive JERA's renewable energy business growth in Europe, North America, Asia and the Middle East. As a global renewables IPP working across the life cycle of renewables, we are looking for key talent to be an active part of this exciting journey as the business grows further.

The role will be based in London and will require occasional travelling and frequent collaboration with the JERA Group Headquarters in Japan, the JERA Nex Headquarters in the UK and Parkwind Headquarters in Belgium.

As a direct report to the VP of the Centre of Operational Excellence, JERA Nex, the Project Manager will be responsible to ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in global company or project experience, as well as a proven track record in successful project management.

We are looking for applicants looking to make the first move out of the top consultancy firms to work directly with the business. Handle the hands-on management of projects from inception to conclusion. This is a key role with an international scope and growth opportunities.

What you will be doing

  • Work closely with the VP of the Centre of Operational Excellence to ensure all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
  • Define clear project scopes and objectives, engaging with all relevant stakeholders to ensure alignment and technical feasibility
  • Effectively allocate and manage project plans to maximize productivity
  • Develop and maintain a detailed project plan to track and report progress
  • Manage relationships with key internal and external stakeholders to facilitate project success
  • Perform risk management to minimize project risks
  • Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors to support project execution
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation to ensure transparency throughout the project lifecycle

What you will have

  • 2-3 years of project management experience from a top consultancy firm
  • Experience working on global and international projects
  • Ideally some experience working with a Japanese based firm
  • A good communicator who can create clear visual presentations, narratives, and storylines
  • A collaborative approach, working alongside and understanding the needs of various different teams
  • Good excel and modelling skills
  • A good communicator and relationship builder
  • Confident, collaborative, proactive and professional approach
