An excellent opportunity has arisen to become part of the Desoutter UK team in a project management role. This exciting role covers a wide range of applications and environments working on Desoutter's process control/data analytics softwares' and it's extensive range of assembly tooling solutions.

• This is a coordination and planning role with responsibility for delivering projects to agreed timescales, resource levels and budget. A high level of influencing skills are needed as are good communication skills to all levels.
• You will have close interaction with the divisional Marketing / Product Managers, and with the internal departments of the local UK customer center.
• You will need to provide engineering and project excellence to internal and external customers.
• You will need to manage projects in a way to maximize profits while always looking to increase margin and adding value to the project delivery.
• You will need to work with the Projects team, Service team and Desoutter Business line to ensure clear communication on all projects.
• You will need to work with the ASMs to produce quotations to satisfy customers' request for quotation.
• You will report to the Projects Supervisor and you will be remote with a dedicated territory.

Your role:

• Develop, define and execute project plans, schedules, budgets and deliverables to ensure that your assigned projects are delivered to agreed timescales and budgets.
• Monitor project progress, liaise with all stakeholders. Report on project highlights, issues and project changes to the project supervisor. Ensure risks are managed appropriately with mitigation plans.
• Organize regular project review meetings (internal and with customers)
• Support the sales team in providing project quotations and scopes of supply.
• Ensure effective communication between all project stakeholders including: customers, internal local customer center, divisional departments and external suppliers.

To succeed, you will need:

• Have an understanding and an ability to use technical/professional knowledge to understand customer's requirements.
• Reason logically and to recognize assumptions to evaluate options and reach sound decisions.
• Establish and implement a systematic course of action to achieve an objective effectively and efficiently.
• Keep a steadfast focus on customer satisfaction and take necessary actions to meet customer expectations.
• Degree in Engineering Discipline (lower qualification with more experience will be considered.)
• PRINCE2 qualification is desirable.
• At least 2 years experience as a Project Manager preferable however graduates will be considered.
• Excellent Microsoft Office and computer skills.
• Previous use and understanding of Project Management Software.
• A UK work permit and a full UK driving license are required for this position.
