An exciting opportunity has become available for a project manager (Construction) to provide professional construction project management for the delivery of major capital building projects. Individual responsibility for the planning, management, and execution of a portfolio of construction projects

About the role

You will work as part of the Property Projects Team, within the Estates Service, a busy and supportive team, that provides professional construction related advice that supports the development and delivery of the Council's capital programme.

The successful candidate will be able provide professional support through all stages of development as well as technical advice, including

• Project management of a portfolio of projects / construction works as the corporate client.
• Contract administration and performance management
• Procurement of professional consultants and contractors
• Project and financial monitoring support for construction works undertaken through grants.
