A Snapshot of Your Day

As a Project Manager at Siemens Energy, you will play a crucial role in the engineering of decarbonization energy solutions. Based at one of our UK locations, you will occasionally be required to work on-site both domestically and internationally. You will work within a close-knit team environment, collaborating with engineers, project managers, and bid managers to oversee projects from the specification phase to commissioning. Your role will involve handling a diverse range of tasks, from the quotation stage to the final realization and commissioning of projects, ensuring a dynamic and varied workload.

How You'll Make an Impact

As a change agent for industrial decarbonization, you will have the opportunity to implement solutions that help companies transition from fossil fuels to renewable sources. You will apply your knowledge in electrification and energy storage systems such as Batteries, H2, Power to X, and CAES. Additionally, you will utilize your experience in industrial automation and digitalization to innovate energy production and distribution. Your practical and results-oriented approach to project management will be essential in achieving sustainable project goals. By integrating human and business interests, you will contribute to the company's success while promoting environmental sustainability and economic stability.

What You Bring

To be successful in this role, you should have 3-5 years of project management experience. A Bachelor's Degree or higher, preferably in Electrical Engineering or combined Business and Engineering, is required. Knowledge and experience in large drives, rotating equipment, and MV switchgear will be an asset. You should have a very good command of English, both written and spoken. A broad commercial and contractual understanding is necessary to successfully interact with customers, management/colleagues, and external stakeholders. Proactivity, collaboration, analytical thinking, decision-making, result orientation, and good communication skills are essential. Additionally, flexibility, creativity, and an open-minded view will contribute to your success in this role.

Our EAD team specializes in providing solutions in the Electrical, Automation, and Digitalization environment. We focus on sales, design, construction, and maintenance of advanced solutions. As part of our strategy, we are committed to the global energy transition, which generates a strong growth in demand. To support new projects in our region, we are expanding our operations team.
