Job Purpose

The role of Project Manageris really important to us. You will be responsible for managing key client projects. Project management responsibilities include the coordination and completion of projects on time within budget and scope. Oversee all aspects of projects. Set deadlines, assign responsibilities and monitor and summarize progress of project. Prepare reports for upper management regarding status of project.

The successful candidate will work directly with customers to ensure deliverables fall within the applicable scope and budget. They will coordinate with other departments to ensure all aspects of each project are compatible.

Your responsibilities day to day will be...

  • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects
  • Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
  • Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
  • Ensure resource availability and allocation
  • Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress
  • Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule and project costs using appropriate verification techniques
  • Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques
  • Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders
  • Perform risk management to minimize project risks
  • Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
  • Meet with clients to take detailed ordering briefs and clarify specific requirements of each project
  • Delegate project tasks based on junior staff members' individual strengths, skill sets and experience levels
  • Track project performance, specifically to analyse the successful completion of short and long-term goals
  • Meet budgetary objectives and make adjustments to project constraints based on financial analysis
  • Develop comprehensive project plans to be shared with clients as well as other staff members
  • Use and continually develop leadership skills
  • Attend conferences and training as required to maintain proficiency
  • Develop spreadsheets, diagrams and process maps to document needs

What do we expect of you?

  • Highly motivated team player able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Achieving / exceeding implementation targets
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role
  • Willingness to work collaboratively with people from other cultures
  • Proven customer relationship and stakeholder management skills
  • Excellent administration skills, possessing strong communication skills [verbal & written]
  • Natural problem solver, innovative and can think outside the box
  • Expertise in demonstrating, and presenting up to senior manager level
  • Proven experience in delivering customer training
  • Willingness to travel nationally and occasionally internationally, as required
  • Competent user of Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Outlook, Word and PowerPoint

Desirable Competencies & Skills:

  • Bachelors degree or suitable industry experience
  • Prince2 or other project management methodology qualifications
  • A second language would be highly advantageous
  • Good knowledge of fleet/telematics marketplace would be advantageous, as would experience of using a telematics system
  • An understanding of the processes that surround customer implementation and change management
  • Experienced in the use of Salesforce or similar CRM system
  • Change Management experience
  • Clean Driving Licence
