Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly organised and experienced Project Manager to join our team. The Project Manager will play a crucial role in coordinating and supporting all projects across various departments, including Tech, Product, Finance, Operations, and others. This includes internal projects and business transformation projects such as introduction of financial system changes or a new customer success platform with vendor management, IT transformations, acquisitions systems, and process alignment. Additionally, this role will involve support of the Operations Director and team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Project Manager, preferably in the technology or education industry.
  • Strong understanding of project management principles, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Excellent organisational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proficiency in project management tools such as Asana, Trello, Monday.com or Jira.
  • Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, or other project management frameworks.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • PMP, CAPM, or other project management certifications are a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and oversee all aspects of project management across multiple departments, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closing.
  • Collaborate with department heads and stakeholders to define each project's scope, goals, and deliverables.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, timelines, and budgets.
  • Distil complex project information into clear, concise, and actionable insights, facilitating informed decision-making at all levels of the organisation.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks and issues, ensuring timely resolution.
  • Facilitate regular project status meetings and provide updates to stakeholders.
  • Manage project resources effectively, including people, budget, and equipment.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement within the project team and across the business.
  • Prepare regular project status reports for senior management and stakeholders, including key metrics and KPIs.
  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including plans, schedules, and progress reports.
  • Conduct post-project reviews to capture lessons learned and identify areas for improvement.
  • Support cross-functional teams in achieving project objectives and milestones.
  • Share and develop best practice across the business providing guidance and tools.
  • Identify and onboard third-party vendors or partners as needed for project execution.
  • Establish and maintain productive relationships with third-party stakeholders.
  • Monitor third-party performance and ensure contractual obligations are met.
  • Provide operations support to the Operations Director as needed.
