What are we looking for

As ITM Power are now moving into an exciting phase of large-scale development with multiple discipline engineering construction projects, we are recruiting for a skilled Project Manager to co-ordinate multiple large-scale projects from feed, tender to sign off. This will include liaising with customers, project partners, grant bodies, suppliers and sub-contractors, and cross functional teams within ITM. The length and value of projects will vary but typically 12 to 36 months. This role will expect you to travel within the UK and Europe. There may be the occasion where travel further field may be required.

Responsibilities

• Delivery of projects to schedule, budgets and to the agreed specification.
• Ensure that health and safety requirements are adhered to throughout project execution.
• Be the company's main point of contact with customers.
• Generate and track the execution of the project plan.
• Identify and mitigate project risks and issues.
• Internal and external Project reporting in accordance to project governance and contractual requirements.
• Protect the contracted project scope and manage scope variations with the clients.
• Coordinating sub-contractors and key suppliers.
• Overseeing installation, commissioning and testing of ITM's products.

About You

The successful candidate will be driven, pragmatic and be able to work without supervision but be able to seek support and advice when necessary.

• Previous 10+ years experience in a similar project management function
• Strong commercial awareness with customer facing experience
• Familiarity with manufacturing systems and processes
• Degree qualified Engineer (preferably Mechanical, Electrical) with strong core project management skills
• Organisational and time management skills
• Problem solving ability
• Ability to use Microsoft Project
• Good report writing and presentation skills
• Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines

You must hold a full clean UK driving license and no travel restrictions is essential.

It would be advantageous but not essential if you speak German/have German written ability.
