Morrison Water Services are currently recruiting for a Project Manager to work on our Southern Water contract in the Southampton area.
As the Project Manager you will be part of our Water for Life Delivery Team, who are in charge of a number of projects in the Southern Water area. This will involve the design, construction and commissioning of new water assets, including cross-country pipelines, service reservoirs and pumping stations.
You will be managing the delivery of projects to agreed timescales, ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of actions at all times. W orking to very high quality levels, in compliance with all regulations and standards, within a multi-disciplinary team. A ttending and contributing to internal and external meetings, reviewing designs, contract documents and conditions.
Have you gained significant experience working in the Water industry and a track record of successful outcomes? This is essential for this role.
Do you have experience in construction, preferably large diameter cross-country pipelines, tunnels, pumping stations and service reservoirs?
Are you experienced in design and buildability, including efficient construction techniques, with a good knowledge of NEC3 contracts?
Do you have a sound knowledge of current legislation and can work in accordance with QA and Health & Safety practices?
Are you computer literate with MS Office expertise?
Can you work together as a team, and also alone, with the ability to make assessments, prioritise and manage conflicting demands?
Do you have strong communication skills?
Are you committed to working with clients, suppliers, contractors, design team and customers, and excellent organisation skills and client service focus?
