Due to significant growth within our DV2 lot 4 framework, Morrison Water Services are looking to recruit Project Managers, preferably (not essential) with a MEICA background in the water sector.

As the Project Manager your duties and responsibilities will include:

• Working within a multi-disciplinary team on projects primarily in the water & waste water, power distribution and petrochemical industries
• Responsible for project delivery and managing the team
• Responsible for the finances of the project
• Attend and contribute to internal and external reviews and progress meetings
• Participate in collaboration meetings with other engineering disciplines and professionals
• Review of contracts & specifications
• Procurement and support for subcontract procurement based on detailed specifications
• Record and Review all project information
• Continual professional development including professional registration is encouraged and actively supported

Skills & Knowledge requirements:

• Experience in water industry would be advantageous
• Computer literate with a good understanding of appropriate software packages
• Knowledge and skills in the in the planning, specification, design procurement and commissioning of projects
• A good financial background in relation to projects
• A good Knowledge of NE C3 /4 contr acts
• Possess sound knowledge of current legislation and able to work in accordance with QA and H&S procedures
• Able to integrate well into a team as well as work independently
• Experienced level of decision making and ability to prioritise and manage conflicting demands
• Strong communication skills all levels with the client, suppliers, contractors and design team
• Excellent written and oral communications skills
• Exceptional organisational skills
• Must be able to plan and prioritise work load effectively
• Excellent client service focus
• Flexible approach to work
