Project Manager

Surrey

An opportunity has arisen for a Project Manager to join the Team at Galliford Try Facilities Management.

Ideally you will be based in Surrey as this role will liaise and deliver a variety of projects as part of the Surrey and Sussex Police project.

What you will be doing:

  • Engage with stakeholders regarding works and potential impact
  • Ensure scope of works is accurate to the requirements of the client
  • Collate, review and assess all risk assessments and method statements
  • CDM Regulation management
  • Manage life cycle and capital projects using current supply chain
  • Prepare fully costed project proposals for reactive and project work and obtain appropriate levels of internal/external sign off.
  • Commission work in line with approved project plans, ensuring contractor compliance with Galliford Try internal procedures customers and /or their consultants.
  • Review and monitor site works and challenge behaviours where necessary
  • Ensure works are fully completed within timeframes and are signed off by the client
  • Identify additional maintenance requirements for new assets and cost any PPM Contract variations

About You:

  • First class project management capabilities able to showcase a track record of delivering to client's expectations.
  • Proven record of delivering construction and redevelopment projects
  • Proven experience in successfully managing multiple subcontractors.
  • Advanced communication skills adept at interfacing with multiple stakeholders both internal and external.
  • Strong knowledge of CDM 15.
  • Proven leadership and delegation skills.
  • Aware of individual Health and Safety responsibilities and adheres to company health and safety policy and procedures.
  • Able to demonstrate alignment and work in line with the Galliford Try values - Excellence, Passion, Integrity and Collaboration.
