Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Manager to join our team. Reporting to the Head of Projects, the successful candidate will be responsible for providing project support across a number of teams ensuring open tasks are captured, monitored and actioned. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication, organisational and people skills, and will be able to work in a fast paced and occasionally pressured environment. The successful candidate will find their new team environment supportive, engaged and appreciative of the value good project management brings to the team. We operate a hybrid office / work from home arrangement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide project support to Front Office requested development teams, including chairing meetings, formulating next steps, assigning actions, and maintaining project documentation.
  • Monitor task level progress with ongoing formal and informal communication to stakeholders.
  • Create and maintain project roadmaps for formal PowerPoint reporting, using JIRA to run agile development cycles.
  • Track project risks and issues, escalating as necessary.
  • Ensure compliance with project management methodologies and standards.
  • Facilitate project team meetings and coordinate project activities.
  • Maintain positive relationships with stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and team members.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Head of Projects.

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of experience in a project related role: Project Management, PMO or Business Analysis.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work in an agile environment, always steering towards the prioritised delivery.
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies and standards.

Preferred:

  • Experience working in Financial Sector, technical or IT environment.
  • Knowledge of financial assets.
  • Experience with JIRA.
