Project Manager

Mission: To support on the One Services Transformation Programme

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead projects within the UK&I PMO Governance framework / One Services Transformation Programme against a given set of criteria
  • Develop and implement the PMO project management suite of doc required, inc project set up.
  • Lead and motivate the project team, managing the relationship with all stakeholders and ensuring the programme manager is kept up to date on progress.
  • Manage the risks and associated mitigation plans, issues and changes on the project
  • Monitor progress against plan, and take appropriate action if required
  • Responsible for arranging all key project meetings and decision gate reviews in line with the project management framework
  • Animate all project communications with the team, stakeholders, sponsor and project Steering Committee
  • Manage the interface between Schneider Electric Services organisation, 3rd party developers and the project team
  • Assumes ownership of the coordination of resources, both within the PMO and wider business to ensure a successful project deployment

Skills and attributes:

  • Experienced and competent with project management and other software tools (MS Excel, MS Project, Teams)
  • A project management related certification (Prince2, MSP, PMP, Lean, or other project management accreditation would be beneficial)
  • You should have around 3 - 5 years of project management experience and be able to demonstrate a strong track record in delivering change management projects
  • Comfortable and experienced of working within either waterfall, hybrid and/or agile project management framework
  • You need to have excellent communication skills and be able to influence your key stakeholders
  • The desire and drive to take the initiative and deliver against it
  • A self-starter, able to hit the ground running

Education

  • Degree or professional certification
