CBRE Global Workplace Solutions is a leading global provider of integrated facilities and corporate real estate management. We are recruiting Project Manager (EMEA) to join our global team. As part of the CBRE Project Team, the successful candidate will support and where identified, take responsibility for the tactical delivery of best-in-class project execution of all projects requested by the client. In specific areas detailed below, management oversight of CBRE's specialist M&E Supply Chain and OEM's in order to deliver a best in class service resulting in an excellent project management service provision across EMEA.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manages all facets of project management (budget, schedule, procurement, quality & risk) for individual real estate projects including planning, design, construction, occupancy and closeout. .
- Demonstrates capability to read, understand and apply standard to complex documents affecting real estate projects, including but not limited to: agreements/contracts, leases, work letters, project charters, surveys and drawings.
- Interfaces directly with clients to define project requirements. Prepares scope of work, project delivery resource requirements, cost estimate & budget, cash flow, work plan schedule & milestones, financial and programme reporting during and at close of the project ,quality control, and risk identification.
- Identifies project delivery resources from pre-qualified lists or through individual project qualification process; conducts standard to complex request for proposals; completes bid analysis; leads evaluation interviews, recommends resources to clients.
- Demonstrates ability to identify complex project risks, lead constructability reviews, develop risk mitigation and contingency plans, and implement action plans to reduce or eliminate project risks.
- Provide technical support, advice and recommendation to client and peers for project specifications (final sign off of any recommendations will be approved by client)
- Review and recommend updates and upgrades to clients construction/Project guidance notes.
- Ensuring that subcontractors exhibit best practice responses to project delivery, plant failures, completion of assigned work and ensure any abnormal operating conditions and housekeeping issues are dealt with proficiently.
- Other duties as assigned.
Essential Skills:
- Excellent client relationship skills.
- 6 Years' experience in the Project management
- HNC in Electrical and Mechanical disciplines
- Experience on working across fit out and new building upgrades within the Finance and Technology sector.
- Demonstrate a good understanding and be technically competent in all building services, in particular UPS, generators, static switches, water treatment, refrigeration and air conditioning, data centres environments
- Ability to effectively respond to complex inquiries or complaints from clients, line management and supply chain.
- Experience in change control and engineering project management planning tools and processes.
- Ability to solve complex problems and provide innovative solutions.
- Intermediate analytical and quantitative skills.
- Intermediate skill with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Relevant experience managing an engineering service delivery across multiple remote and culturally different locations.
- Ability to communicate across all levels within an organisation.
- Excellent IT skills, especially regarding MSWord, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Is fully conversant with Change Control Methodology and Integrated Service Management platforms.
- Is structured and methodical in development, implementation and compliance using documented evidence.
- Has a detailed understanding of all new/current Building Services systems, Business continuity Practices, Local Authority, Statutory Regulations and Codes of Practice. This will assist with ensuring the smooth operation of continual engineering practices to CBRE and the client in EMEA.
