Position Summary:

This is an excellent opportunity to join the EMEA Finance Projects team at Hilton in a role that can offer a flexible working location within France or the UK (possibly other European countries), also combining hybrid or remote working patterns.

The Project Finance Systems Manager is responsible for coordinating functional changes through the key financial systems in place in EMEA (outside of UK) ie Microsoft Dynamics Nav & SunSystems, and related financial integrations. The person is leading and Project manages the different functional components of those systems, in collaboration with hotels and finance teams, infrastructure and IT, and Third party providers.

Under supervision of the Director Finance Project EMEA, the key interactions are:

Ensuring financial systems are operating correctly and coordinate with support partners to maintain an adequate support

  • Regularly meet with partners to review issues
  • Report to RFD if and when needed
  • Maintain System Cost centre and instruct for billing (Microsoft Dynamics Nav)
  • Coordinate central request for above property audit review
  • Infrastructure update : be the point of contact and coordinate changes with users, infrastructure team and system providers

Openings - Coordinate the implementation of back office systems for hotels' opening

  • Help gathering localization requirement for First in Countries
  • Coordinate between partner and hotels for deployment of the solution (requirement gathering, SOW signing, setup and design, training organization and live activities)

Legal and structural changes, enhancements - coordinate application in back offices of legal and structural changes & other enhancements

  • Review requirements from local teams
  • Coordinate SOW design and testing
  • Ensure necessary development, test and validations are done in the central enhancement tracking system
  • Suggest central enhancements where require to improve usage or functionalities, coordinate SOW, design, tests, etc

New platforms and Upgrades - Coordinate functional design of new decided platforms & be the functional lead on system upgrade when agreed

  • Ensure Design, test and validate new countries within an existing multi country platform (Microsoft Dynamics Nav)
  • Functional project manager for migration to Business Central (Microsoft Dynamics Nav) when decided : migration protocol, process, sign off, core redesign and tests

Communication

  • Reinforce user communication when needed
  • Maintain Newsletter to communicate on changes, and reinforce tools and usage
  • Review regularly functionality usage
  • Define and communicate KPIs on achievements and performance

In addition, depending on availability and projects, this role can also be involved in other applications development / deployments (Document management system, payroll etc.) from a functional design and integration to back office perspective, and on a project coordination aspect.

What are we looking for?

Applicants will have a finance and project management background and must have experience in either SunSystems or Microsoft Dynamics Nav (ideally both). Additional skills / experience will include:

• Very strong communication and interpersonal skills able to deal with all levels of the organization

• Finance degree holder and / or a professional level Accounting qualification such as ACCA, CIMA, CPA etc.

• Working in or supporting an accounting function

• Technical system build methodology and database setup experience (ie. not only user of the system but having participate as functional to system build)

• Having participated to IT project management in a key position (ie. understand interaction, methods, etc.)

• Able to communicate effectively in English language - other language skills would also be of benefit

• Sound understanding of SunSystems and Microsoft Dynamics Nav

• Good Microsoft Office knowledge - use of Microsoft Visio is a plus
