Minimum Requirements: Senior Project Manager on large, complex projects (£20m+), proven leadership of multi-disciplinary teams, in-depth knowledge of JCT contracts, advanced planning/programming capability, strong commercial acumen, relevant construction qualification.

As a Project Director, you'll lead complex, high-value projects from start to finish, safeguarding our reputation for excellence at every stage. You'll inspire teams, optimise commercial performance, and build strong client relationships, ensuring every project is delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest standard.
The responsibilities we'll trust you with
- You'll take ownership of one or more complex projects, leading them seamlessly from pre-construction through delivery to post-completion.
- You'll inspire and guide multi-disciplinary teams, creating a collaborative culture that drives high performance
- You'll set and deliver project strategy, programming, and reporting, ensuring contractual, commercial, and operational goals are achieved.
- You'll take the lead on commercial performance, partnering with surveyors and divisional managers to mitigate risk and unlock opportunity.
- You'll uphold the highest standards of health, safety, quality, and compliance across every stage of delivery.
- You'll develop and maintain trusted relationships with clients and consultants, securing service excellence and repeat business.
Where you'll be based
You'll join our Central Region team, delivering a wide-ranging portfolio of high-value country projects, from £500k to £100m. Our work spans Grade I and II listed buildings, extensive refurbishments, contemporary new builds, sporting estates, boutique hotels, and grand manor houses.
You'll be based on-site at one of our prestigious projects, joining a warm and professional team known for their expertise, collaboration, and commitment to excellence.

The areas of knowledge and expertise that matter most for this role
- You'll have a proven track record of successfully delivering large-scale projects (£20m+) from pre-construction through to completion.
- You'll demonstrate advanced programming and planning expertise, with confident use of industry software such as Power Project.
- You'll bring strong contractual knowledge, particularly with JCT contracts, and the ability to manage risk and opportunity at a strategic level.
- You'll apply extensive commercial expertise, including experience in complex procurement, change control, and cost reporting.
- You'll possess deep technical understanding of both traditional and modern construction methods, including conservation and heritage projects
- You'll showcase exceptional leadership and people management skills, with a history of mentoring, motivating, and developing high-performing teams.
