Job Description
In this role you will be growing sales within the UK, Ireland and the Nordics inline with the regional development plan. As the ideal candidate you will be experienced in identifying opportunities and supporting the sales force to secure new build construction projects within the Energy market segment across Oil and Gas, Petrochem, Conventional Power, Renewables and Power to X. Responsibilities
- To increase Sherwin-Williams brand awareness and visibility to main owners, engineers, OeMs, main contractors active in the aforesaid region and be considered a trusted partner for coatings related topics.
- To identify and select the target projects at their early stages in full alignment with the involved segment functions (using tools/databases, customers' info, etc.).
- To gain the best possible specification position for the selected target projects, developing a winning strategy for each project in full alignment with the involved region(s) and with the involved segment functions.
- To identify and build network with the customers' key decision makers/influencers (vertical project teams: engineering teams, QA/QC teams, subcontract dept., construction dept, site managers).
- To identify the subcontractors value chain of the target projects and share it with the involved sales managers in the regions.
Qualifications
- User level of lead generation tools.
- Experience in coatings business and/or adjacent industry.
- Experience in the use of CRM systems.
- Experience in dealing with owners, EPC contractors, OeMs and general contractors on new built Energy projects.
- Ability to build network with different stakeholders/key decision makers of customers' organization.
- Experience in Energy construction business.
