Project Developer, Supercharging

The Role
With 50,000+ Superchargers, Tesla owns and operates the largest, fast-charging network in the world. Located on major routes near convenient amenities, Superchargers keep our customers charged when they are away from home.

As we continue to expand our charging network, we are looking for a Project Developer to support the network development in the UK and Ireland. In your day-to-day activities you will work on market research, process improvements, rollout strategy, prospecting potential site hosts, pitching our proposition, negotiating, closing deals and anything else the team may require of you, with the opportunity to deliver new and innovative ideas from day 1.
This role requires willingness and ability to travel on a regular basis, approximately two days per week on average.

Responsibilities

  • Connect with potential site hosts and pitch Tesla's EV charging proposition.
  • Negotiate win-win solutions and close contracts with landlords to secure our strategy and goals.
  • Drive improvements across all aspects of Tesla EV charging programmes in the UK & Ireland.
  • Analyse and interpret a range of data sources to inform the team's strategy.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to improve customer experience, cost efficiency and project timelines.
  • Implement and optimize processes to drive efficiency and productivity.

Requirements

  • 3+ years' experience in a commercial role within charging, e/mobility, or renewable energy, preferably in a B2B capacity.
  • Ability to autonomously manage multiple projects, maintain client relationships, and ensure positive customer experiences.
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to persuade, negotiate, and influence a wide range of audiences.
  • Entrepreneurial and data-driven mindset to identify and act on opportunities.
  • A valid Driver's License.
  • Fluency in English.
  • Familiarity with lease reviews a plus.
