About the role
An exciting opportunity exists within our Technical Services team for a Project Delivery Manager to lead New Product Development (NPD) and Existing Product Development (EPD) projects across Beauty & General Merchandise (GM) categories.
The Project Delivery Manager is responsible for delivering key projects within a portfolio to support category and brand growth plans. Using strong project management skills and practical product delivery knowledge, you will ensure projects meet commercial objectives and timelines.
Reporting to the Portfolio Manager, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams including Buying, Technical, Product, and Supply to drive successful outcomes.
This is a permanent role based in Nottingham.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver projects from concept to launch using best practice in governance, risk and issue management, change control, and stakeholder engagement.
- Coordinate internal teams and external suppliers to manage critical paths and resolve risks promptly.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, timelines, and status reports for stakeholders.
- Monitor performance, investigate issues, and implement solutions to keep projects on track.
- Drive continuous improvement and adopt digital tools to enable efficient delivery within a clear governance framework.
- Ensure communication and risk management to achieve positive resolutions and meet agreed targets.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation, timelines, and status reports for stakeholders.
What you'll need to have
- Proven experience in project management, preferably within cosmetics, beauty, or FMCG industries.
- Organisational and communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong knowledge of project/programme methodology including governance.
It would be great if you also have
- Familiarity with product development lifecycles in beauty or personal care.
- Proficiency in project management tools and software.
- A recognised project management qualification such as PRINCE2 or APM.
