Job Title: Project Control Manager – Fast Jet Support

Salary: £63,900 + depending on experience
What you’ll be doing:
- Lead and manage a team of approx. 15 Project Control professionals, ensuring they are SQEP and furnished with a safe environment and correct toolsets to manage contracts with a value of c£520M+
- Operate as Project Control Manager ensuring project control function related outputs are within governance and the necessary activities are discharged as per the monthly cycle
- Ensure the team support the service/work package leads within the CAM to enable them to resource and deliver the scope of contracts placed on them
- Deliver an efficient and effective CAM project control service across the breadth of FJS operational activities, ensuring baselines are constructed in a way that accurately represents the work to be done and ensure robust measurement of performance
- Monitor and report project/programme performance for financial objectives to and on behalf of the CAM including Schedules, Milestones, ETCs, Risk and Opportunity
- Provide accurate reporting into the CAM and Contract teams which provide recommendations for actions in order to enable timely decisions to be made
- Lead the roll out of upcoming toolsets and process changes, ensuring the project control and business operations teams are sufficiently SQEP to use them
Your skills and experiences:
- Extensive knowledge of Project Controls, with experience of leading project control teams in the monthly cycle of updating the PCS, reporting and improving data quality
- Experience in the delivery of projects within the support arena
- The ability to manage a cross-contract portfolio of work, across a number of customers, with a number of priorities at any given time
- An experienced Team Leader with an ability to motivate and support employees, and identify and assist with training and development

The Support & Service Delivery Unit – Shared Service
Within the Support and Services organisation, Fast Jet Support offers a complete suite of services that manage our customer’s aircraft and associated support products, to deliver safe, fit for purpose, and available aircraft.
During and following the production of an aircraft, a support contract is in place to keep it flying. This contract includes programmes of work which engineers trouble shoot and fix technical problems, provide and design replacement parts, technical information, training, upgrades to the aircraft and customer support.
