Salary: up to £45,000 p/a

Bonus: 10% of salary

Line Manages: Parent Engagement lead

Role Profile

The Parent Engagement Manager leads and develops the centralised parent engagement function, ensuring enquiries from prospective parents are effectively managed and converted into nursery visits and registrations.

This role focuses on improving the end-to-end parent enquiry journey across all nurseries, using data, systems, and performance insights to drive occupancy and enhance the parent experience.

Working closely with Senior Leadership Team members across the business, the Parent Engagement Manager provides strategic insight, commercial analysis, and operational guidance to strengthen parent engagement, optimise enquiry management processes, and support nursery enrolment targets.

The role provides strategic oversight of the parent engagement team, supporting the Team Lead to ensure high standards of enquiry handling, communication, and performance.

Key Responsibilities

Parent Engagement & Strategy
• Lead and optimise parent engagement and enquiry journey
• Improve experience, conversion, and occupancy
• Ensure consistent communication standards

Data & Performance
• Analyse data and track KPIs to drive improvements
• Provide insights to support decision-making

Systems & Processes
• Optimise CRM systems, workflows, and onboarding processes

Leadership & Commercial Support
• Lead and develop the team to deliver strong customer outcomes
• Support occupancy targets, acquisitions, and cross-team alignment

What Are We Looking For?

Experience

  • Proven experience in a commercial, sales, or customer engagement leadership role.
  • Strong track record of delivering results through enquiry conversion and customer journey optimisation.
  • Experience managing or supporting high-volume enquiry pipelines and customer engagement processes.
  • Experience working with CRM systems and performance reporting tools.

Skills and Knowledge

  • Strong commercial awareness with the ability to translate data into strategic action.
  • Highly analytical and data-driven with a focus on measurable outcomes.
  • Excellent understanding of customer journey design and engagement strategies.
  • Strong leadership and influencing skills with the ability to guide and develop teams.
  • Experience with telesales techniques and enquiry management methodologies.
  • Skilled in process improvement and systems optimisation.

Tools & Systems

  • CRM platforms
  • Data analysis and reporting tools (Excel, Power BI or equivalent)
  • Telephony and communication platforms used for enquiry handling
  • Nursery management or FMS systems - desirable but not essential
