Salary: Starting Salary is £39,513 rising to £42,708 per annum (pro-rata for part-time)

About the Role
We are looking for a highly motivated, enthusiastic, experienced individual that can lead, manage, monitor, review and develop programming and capacity management processes for the Sport, Community and Leisure Service, which delivers the Council's Core Priorities and Strategies.
As part of the Service Delivery Team, you will make informed decisions on how to deliver optimal business performance through a commercialised approach by increasing usage, attendance, sport and physical activity participation and income growth. Whilst contributing to reducing costs and overall service subsidy.
We are looking for someone with extensive experience of collating, interpreting, and analysing data to forecast future business decisions. The role requires a full understanding of the operation of the leisure management system, including troubleshooting and technical expertise, with responsibility for data management and compliance.
The position has service wide responsibility for leading work with General Managers (GM) and Assistant Managers (AM) to successfully implement changes to leisure centre programming and producing accurate, timely performance management information.
This is a key position and forms part of the wider senior management team.
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
- Higher Education Qualification, Industry Specific Qualification, Data Qualification, Leadership/Management Qualification or equivalent Industry Experience.
- Experience of working with raw data and being able to present reports and interactive dashboards
- Experience and knowledge of the sport and leisure industry and challenges faced.
- Experience of leisure management systems or equivalent.
- Numeracy skills to a level necessary to prepare financial information, calculations, and present reports
- Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends and travel within the City Council area or be based at particular locations as required and necessary
