As a member of the ITV Cymru Wales programmes department, you will be joining a team of multi-skilled and multi-talented programme makers, who produce award winning content for the people of Wales. Other things we're looking for (key criteria)

  • Filming and Avid editing experience preferable although not essential
  • Demonstrable experience of being able to research to firm deadlines and with excellent editorial judgement and accuracy
  • Excellent, relevant contacts with an ability to build trust with people, communities, faiths and races outside of your own to tell their stories
  • Knowledge, skills and experience of reaching new audiences on new platforms
  • An ability to work within particular guidelines such as Media Law; ITV's health and safety; and our environmental responsibility guidelines
  • A good knowledge of Wales and its distinct features
  • A demonstrable ability to work well as a part of a team
