Job Title: Programme Manager, Source to Pay
Location: Flexible within the UK, with travel across the UK and internationally for workshops as required. We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements – please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role.
Salary: £80,000+ depending on experience with executive benefits
What you’ll be doing:
- Lead programme and project execution, ensuring alignment with organisational goals
- Develop and execute comprehensive project plans, timelines, and budgets for GS2P and related initiatives
- Ensure the successful rollout of S2P technologies and tools, including integrations and process automation on time and on budget
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the S2P process, identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and proactively mitigate risks
- Manage relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, including senior leadership, procurement teams, finance, IT
- Design and develop strategies for Portfolio, Programme, and Project (P3M) execution
- Foster a culture of collaboration and high performance, mentoring and guiding cross-functional teams
- Manage supplier relationships and third-party integrations, while overseeing cost control and lifecycle management
- Integrate cross-boundary functions, identify and track dependencies
- Develop innovative solutions to complex problems with robust designs
- Manage requirements, priorities, and alignment with success criteria
- Oversee work breakdown structures, effort estimation, scheduling, and proactive risk management
Your skills and experiences:
- Experience driving enterprise-wide standardisation and transformation, with executive-level accountability
- Experience leading complex, cross-functional projects at a global scale
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Proven ability to design, develop, and lead programme management execution strategies
- Experience delivering IT software deployment projects successfully
- Skilled in creating strategic business plans and managing all aspects of project controls
- APM Project Management Qualification or equivalent
- Strong understanding of Project Management Processes, Procedures, Methodologies and Toolsets
- Stakeholder and influencing skills to work cross functionally and achieve optimum solutions

The Programme Management team:
A rare opportunity to lead a complex, enterprise-wide Procurement Source to Pay (S2P) Programme at BAE Systems, reporting to our Head Office Organisation.
Your role will involve engaging with stakeholders across BAE’s various business sectors to ensure the successful execution of the programme. You will manage multiple technical and non-technical delivery teams and oversee the full lifecycle of the S2P programme, from planning and analysis to execution, delivery, stabilisation, and benefit realisation. As Programme Manager, you will be accountable for managing multiple concurrent workstreams, driving the overall success of the programme.
