Job Description

As a Programme Manager, you will provide end-to-end leadership across the programme lifecycle while also intervening at critical points where specialist expertise or recovery leadership is required. You will be a trusted partner and critical friend, ensuring stakeholder engagement and communication is at the heart of programme success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Programme Delivery: Lead the successful execution of small to medium scale transformation/real estate programmes, and own execution of functions/elements of large-scale programmes, ensuring measurable benefits.
  • Leadership & Vision: Establish and drive the direction of the programme, empowering and inspiring teams to achieve success.
  • Industry Expertise: Apply industry best practice programme management methodologies, preferably in a real estate environment.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Operate across middle management and senior levels, engaging client-side senior managers, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
  • People Management: Act as a first-class people manager, nurturing both internal talent and client teams.
  • Commission Management: Ensure compliance with governance and risk management requirements, instilling confidence in senior managers.
  • Financial Oversight: Develop a robust financial management process, ensuring transparent and effective reporting.
  • Health & Safety: Establish measures to proactively manage programme-wide health and safety risks, ensuring successful safeguards are in place.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Good understanding of programme management requirements and how it relates to real estate
  • Ability to work in relevant programme management process and systems
  • Excellent communication skills, in person and written
  • Degree qualified in a relevant field
  • Professional membership desirable
