About The RoleCentral Functions has an exciting roadmap of change and are recruiting for a Programme Manager to join the high performing team. In this role you'll manage the delivery of a key strategic Finance Programme of change. As programme manager, alongside the finance senior leadership team, you will conceive a vision and structure for the programme and lead the programme team to deliver Programme outcomes.

About YouYou will have extensive experience working as a Programme Manager managing the programme lifecycle end to end. You need to be passionate about change with demonstrable leadership skills and the ability to get the best from a Project team. You will be able to engage with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation and be able to make connections and influence decisions. Ideally you will have some experience in Accounting and Finance Systems and managing large systems change interacting with both UK and Group stakeholders. You will have sound commercial judgment and overall understanding of the Financial Services Industry particularly the business impact of the regulatory environment.

Key Accountabilities

  • Define and develop the Programme, Governance and strategy
  • Plan and design the Programme and proactively monitor overall progress, providing solutions to issues when they arise
  • Manage risks to the Programme's successful outcome
  • Manage the Programme resources and budget, monitoring expenditure and costs
  • Manage communication with senior stakeholders
  • Ensure the delivery of new products or services from the Programme is of the highest quality following internal frameworks and best practice
  • Ensure effective quality assurance and overall integrity of the Programme
  • Contribute to the development of the business change function, leadership of the team and development of team members

Skills & Experience

  • You'll have lead multi-disciplined teams and influenced across all levels, including Board and Group level, demonstrating excellent communication and relationship management skills
  • You'll have an excellent business acumen and financial awareness and have experience of financial management and budgeting of large scale strategic investments
  • You'll have negotiated contracts, on boarded and worked with 3rd party suppliers
  • You'll have exposure to establishing and executing a governance framework for the Programme and its projects and take a proactive approach to risk management
  • You'll be a leader, with coaching and people management skills, able to lead large teams and manage 3rd party suppliers
  • You will have experience working in finance or with them as a key stakeholder
  • You will have delivered large system change

Qualifications

  • Professionally qualified within change profession (eg: APMP, MSP)
  • Degree educated or qualified with experience
