Fixed term contract until 31 March 2026 | £55,147 to £60,676 per annum (Scale M) | 37 hours per week | County Hall, Norwich

We're seeking a Programme Manager in Adult Social Services to lead our transformation programme and Transformation Team over the next year in line with our Promoting Independence Strategy.
Our strategy sets out our ambition for adult social care in Norfolk and we have a great track record of transforming our services to keep services fit for the future. Together with a challenging savings programme, we are reshaping our delivery plans to transform adult social services to support improved outcomes for residents in Norfolk in line with our strategic ambitions.
The Transformation Team is part of the Assurance, Strategy and Performance team and project manages a wide range of programmes supporting the department's change agenda as well as the savings and efficiencies programme. You will be responsible for delivering a professional centre of expertise and collaborating with the corporate strategy and transformation team.
We are looking for an experienced Programme Manager, with experience of leading a team of project managers; a track record of developing and shaping programmes of work; strong project management expertise and experience of delivering and implementing change agendas within complex environments. You will be expected to manage the design and implementation of the overall programme and plan, manage the project management team (who will work with sponsors to apply agreed programme and project management tools and approaches) and manage the governance for the programme providing oversight whilst managing the programme of work.
The post is for a fixed term contract for one year and will be hybrid working with the office base at County Hall in Norwich, Norfolk.
