  • Suffolk County Council - Endeavour House, Ipswich, IP1 2BX - Hybrid
  • £56,849 - £67,720 per annum pro rata
  • 22.2 hrs per week - Flexible working options available
  • Fixed term or Secondment for 15 months

Your role and responsibilities

As Programme Manager for the joint review programme between Public Health and Communities & Children and Young Peoples Services you will:

  • be at the forefront of managing change, leading high quality and effective ways of working and managing staff, resources or projects to achieve the best possible outcomes for children, young people and their families in Suffolk
  • take full ownership of leading the programme management approach
  • handle highly sensitive information
  • effectively plan and monitor progress to ensure deadlines are meet.

You will need

  • to be self-motivated and able to operate with minimal supervision and direction
  • to be highly experienced in programme management with recent demonstratable experience in leading large-scale transformation and public consultations
  • to communicate contentious information clearly both written and verbally to diverse audiences and demonstrate resilience to frequently changing priorities/ direction.
