It is is a really exciting opportunity to be joining East Sussex County Council. You will report to the Head of Service for Hospitals, CHC and Financial Services and oversee a small team who are responsible for a large number of projects within the overall programme of work.

You will be experienced in project management methodologies and able to connect theory to practice. You will have a high degree of emotional intelligence which you will deploy in effective stakeholder management. You will report the progress and tracking of your portfolio of projects to a bi-monthly steering group chaired by the Head of Service, as well as providing regular updates to key stakeholders.

Ideally you will have Adult Social Care experience and have working knowledge of the legal frameworks we have to use in our practice and decision making.

We operate a hybrid working arrangement, which includes a minimum of one or two days per week in the office. You will be expected to attend in person meetings outside of your allocated office day.

Your starting salary will be pro rata if the above position is part-time or term-time only.

Work Permits: we may be able to obtain a Work Permit for this post but this is subject to meeting the requirements of the UK Border Agency's Points-based Immigration System.
