We're hiring for a Programmatic Director in London to cover Maternity Leave May 2025- April 2026.
Purpose of the Role
This role required advanced knowledge of programmatic technology and wider ecosystem. You will take initiative and be confident in operating in a collaborative working environment, driving both campaign success and client growth. The right candidate will have a proven track record managing team resource and maximising team performance ensuring best in class delivery and long-term client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Programmatic Evolution and Expertise
- Demonstrate advanced understanding of Programmatic technology and the wider Display and Video ecosystem including AV, building relationships with key partners. Experience in Audio and DOOH would be a plus
- Play an active role in contributing to our programmatic proposition as dentsu digital and deliver thought leadership on industry topics, internally and externally.
Client servicing and growth
- Overall responsibility of the client portfolio under your remit
- Drive client and commercial growth by identifying new opportunities, implementing strategies for long term success, integrated services and dentsu products where appropriate
Team leadership & operational excellence
- Ensure operational excellence across your client portfolio, with responsibility over a team of programmatic experts planning and activation of omnichannel programmatic strategies
- Be accountable for the output of the team by managing team resource, workloads and problem solving, while coaching and developing to ensure best in class delivery and team expertise.
- Support team development by nurturing talent and identifying opportunities for development
Financially responsible
- Own commercial practices including invoicing, spend delivery, investment and margin management to help drive the profitability of the department.
Qualifications + Skills
- Experience of working with multiple technology platforms: Key DSPs, Adverification tools
- Commercially minded and ability to uncover opportunities that lead to commercial growth
- Ability to lead meetings both internally and externally in relation to strategy, activation and delivery
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office Suite, particularly MS Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong presentation skills
- Detail orientated with first class analytical skills
