Program Manager Go-To-Market, Amazon Devices

DESCRIPTION

Do you have a passion for the latest Alexa-enabled consumer electronics and technologies? Are you a strategic thinker, able to identify new ways of doing things and manage complex projects that drive business success?

The Amazon Devices organization is looking for an analytical self-starter and creative leader to join its EU Offline Retail team and drive go-to-market efforts with our retail partners. Within Amazon Devices, the EU Offline Retail team owns the strategy and operations to drive successful growth with key European retail partners.

You will lead go-to-market readiness for our four key Amazon product categories (Echo, Fire TV, Kindle and Fire Tablets) for Offline Retail. You will also drive projects to improve how we scale our operations and tools. This role requires experience in Program Management, strong influencing skills to work with multiple teams and leaders, a strategic mindset and a strong ability to navigate ambiguity.

Key job responsibilities
• Represent Offline Retail across our four key Product Lines (Echo, Fire TV, Kindle, Fire Tablets) throughout the product life-cycle.
• Program-manage launches of new devices in the Offline channel, to ensure that our retail partners launch successfully on launch day.
• Work with a broad cross-section of internal teams to execute the launch playbook.
• Identify gaps in our GTM processes, drive sustainable improvements and implement new mechanisms to reduce inefficiencies.
• Effectively manage our retail partners expectations and use high judgment to resolve conflicts/tradeoffs that balance retailers and company needs.
• Drive project commitments from a broad list of stakeholders that need to contribute to launches.
• Drive clarity for internal teams through exceptional communication.
• Identify, analyze and lead other transversal strategic projects that drive growth for Offline Retail (e.g., launching new countries or product categories).

A day in the life
No two days will ever be the same in this role. You will represent Offline Retail across multiple Product Lines, working on several projects and multiple product launches. You will be ensuring various stakeholder groups complete launch tasks following our playbook, whilst working behind the scenes to solve problems and develop strategies to ensure success in Offline Retail. You will become an expert on all new product launches, working closely with Marketing, Sales, Product Managers, and Operations on identifying the most effective way of launching new devices with retail partners. You will track the development roadmap of multiple new Amazon devices, identify process gaps and drive projects for sustainable improvements. You will work with many teams across the Devices business and will be a key figure in driving success across the Offline business.
