Job Description

Job Purpose

The role will oversee and manage the PS website, ensuring our clients, contacts and employees are provided with a best-in-class, high quality digital experience, which should drive satisfaction, brand recommendation and ultimately commercial outcomes across both prospective and existing client audiences. Additionally they will be responsible for delivering high quality email communications to clients and prospects through the end-to-end execution of email campaigns, proactively identifying ways to optimise them to generate more leads in line with our team KPIs. They will play an essential part in delivering against both the wider business, and marketing team objectives and KPIs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Take a holistic approach to oversee and manage the design and development of key user experiences across the PS website, ensuring a smooth user journey between audience, sector and business line services.
  • Work with the Digital Marketing & Analytics Manager to monitor website traffic on own, and third-party sites (where we are promoted) to identify trends and suggest improvements to keep up with emerging technologies and techniques
  • Take ownership of the development roadmap and management of external agencies ensuring project goals and objectives are delivered on time and on budget
  • Continually review and refine the site architecture and overall UX identifying trends and making suggestions for improvements.
  • Have clear sight of the PS marketing plan and ensure digital objectives (web & email) are set that help achieve those objectives through clear and measurable KPIs against which the campaign and materials will be measured and reported.
  • Work with the PS Marketing Planning & Campaigns team to develop an email marketing strategy to accelerate growth, increase funnel conversion, and drive revenue, through the delivery of a series of email communications - including service and marketing emails
  • Work with the PS Marketing Planning & Campaigns team to agree campaign timelines for delivery through a robust and engagement based development process through to sign off.
  • Work with the Content team to share and optimise digital content to the needs of PS client and prospects. With a particular focus on supporting research, devising and managing unique SEO strategies to drive traffic, evaluating results and performance and taking core content and optimising for email delivery (related links, content on page, embedded links etc.
  • Ensure all web and email channels are fully GDPR compliant in terms of delivery and data capture.
  • Take a data-driven approach by utilising onsite analytic tools and campaign data to optimise targeting, creative, marketing messages and journeys, to create a robust test and learn approach, that improves acquisition and conversion.
  • Work with the Business Insights and Analytics team to extract data from internal systems to be used for email campaigns.
  • Work with the Data Protection officer and compliance teams to ensure all new campaigns are fully compliant before rolling out
  • Manage our suite of responsive design email templates, landing pages and forms for automated campaigns aligned to digital brand guidelines and standards
  • Be a subject matter expert for internal databases used for email campaigns by keeping up to date with email best practice and latest trends
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in the business, with marketing colleagues and with compliance.

Qualifications

Key Skills and Experience

  • Experience of key user experiences/user journeys across multiple digital channels
  • Experience of Umbraco CMS, Dotdigital and HTML
  • Ability to achieve targets and meet expectations
  • Experience in website management, SEO and PPC
  • Experience in email marketing
  • Experience of using web analytics reporting and explaining complex topics
  • Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practice in online marketing and measurement
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as strong presentation skills
  • Exemplary accuracy and attention to detail
  • A desire to continually learn about websites and digital technology
  • A keen eye for detail
  • An understanding of the professional services industry is desirable
  • Strong project management skills is desirable

Professional Qualifications and Education

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent professional qualification (CIM/IMC)
  • Project management qualifications desirable although not essential
  • University qualification desired but not essential
  • School/college qualifications required
