About The Role

As a Production Team Manager, you will lead by example, driving results through effective team management and engagement. Your expertise in food manufacturing will help ensure we deliver top-quality products to our customers efficiently and on time.

Key Responsibilities:

• Performance Management: Monitor and drive KPIs, setting performance targets, reviewing progress, and creating action plans to enhance performance, reduce costs, and improve standards
• Task Allocation: Allocate tasks and conduct daily shift briefs
• Continuous Improvement: Identify problems and implement continuous improvement strategies across your production area
• Talent Development: Spot and develop talent within your team through coaching and guidance
• Colleague Welfare and Engagement: Ensure colleague welfare and improve attendance standards, drive engagement activities within your area

About You

• Experience: Management or supervisory experience in a large-scale production operation within the food manufacturing industry.
• Leadership: Proven track record of people management, delivering strong results through a team.
• Problem Solving: Ability to challenge decisions and behaviours to ensure consistent service and demonstrate problem-solving skills.
• Communication: Excellent communication skills and assertiveness to make on-the-spot decisions.
• Work Ethic: A can-do attitude with a strong work ethic.
