Job description

Due to internal movement,. we now have opportunities for Production Program Managers to join the team in 2025. The PPM is a busy, interesting and pressurised role. As Production Program Manager, you will be the interface between production, programs and customer. You will be responsible for the continuous improvement of the structural Industrial performance (delivery and quality) for the Program and accountable for costs for the Production scope of work for its Programs. As an escalation, the PPM can temporarily become the coordinator of the recovery plan in support of the execution functions.
Key Responsibilities & Duties will include;
• Escalate as needed to the IPT the industrial blockers where support of functions are needed
• Industrial focal point with the Customer as required by Programs
• Understand and prioritize industrial global critical activities within the IPT, especially with Engineering. (cost reduction, manufacturability, design changes, NC etc.) & validate Design Changes on behalf of Operations.
In order to achieve this goal, the PPM is responsible to;
• Collect, consolidate & assess the risks and develop & evaluate risk mitigation plans
• Ensure recovery action plans, are consistent and robust (in case on non-performance)
• Verify Manufacturing plans & Assembly plans are in line with the rules defined and ensure protection of the Program
• Lead WHAT-IF scenario assessments
• The PPM is to become accountable for costs for the Production scope of work for its Programs
• Set and agree work to conclude a recovery plan
• Ensure on time delivery, quality and costs are maintained
• Risk management - look long term and more strategically, looking at risks further ahead.
Travel specifictity
Travel every three months will be required to a sister site - this could be Canada or France

Candidate skills & requirements
The key element for this role is the right person with the right mindset and attributes. You will be managing cross functional teams, with no direct reports. Excellent communication skills are a must!
• Crisis management experience is essential, with the ability to step in, handle and coordinate the crisis
• SAP / ERP experience
• Manufacturing awareness and processes
• Ability to problem solve
• Aerospace experience an advantage but not essential
• Financial awareness is needed for inventory and planning work
• Project management skills
