Product Operations Manager - Business Banking

OakNorth are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Product Operations Manager to join our team and play a critical role in managing our business banking products. As the Product Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end operational aspects of our business banking products, ensuring the products are successful with our clients and its operational efficiency, supporting product management teams in its development, and their successful delivery and performance in the market.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute the customer-centric operational strategy and roadmap for business banking products, collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Lead the end-to-end operational implementation of new business banking products, ensuring stakeholder alignment and communication.
• Identify, document, and seamlessly integrate operational process improvements, prioritizing customer satisfaction, and continually monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) for enhancement.
• Coordinate with Capacity, Forecasting, and Optimization teams to track and update processes and resource requirements for business banking Operations teams, monitoring resource mitigation.
• Collaborate with internal and external partners to drive operational efficiency, including process automation, risk management, and compliance.
• Address escalations and resolve issues related to business banking products, serving as a point of contact for customer and internal concerns.
• Act as a bridge between Operations teams in Manchester and India, integrating improvements into the product strategy and roadmap.
• Work with cross-functional teams to incorporate Operations teams' requirements in the development of business banking products and track their successful delivery ahead of new product releases.
• Manage issue resolution stemming from product releases or development, coordinating with relevant cross-functional teams.
• Stay attuned to industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitive offerings in the business banking space, using this knowledge to shape customer-centric product and operational strategies.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in product operations, with a focus on business banking products
• Proven track record of successfully launching and managing business banking products in a fast-paced and competitive environment.
• Strong understanding of banking operations, including payment processing, customer service, and regulatory compliance
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills
• Experience leading and developing high-performing teams.
• Ability to communicate effectively and build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
• Familiarity with industry best practices and emerging trends in business banking
