Product Manager (Rock & Metal

Join BMG as a Product Manager in our Global Catalogue Recordings team, where you will be instrumental in shaping and delivering music content across digital and physical formats.

Your role will involve optimizing digital consumption, coordinating marketing campaigns, and ensuring timely delivery of high-quality product assets. You'll collaborate with internal teams and external agencies, manage artist and market research, and maintain meticulous release schedules.

This position offers a blend of creative freedom and strategic influence, making it perfect for someone passionate about music and eager to make an impact.

Key Responsibilities.

  • To prepare and implement repertoire campaigns for an allocated roster of artists and catalogues, utilising an insights-driven approach.
  • To produce cutting edge digital content and consumption initiatives through to comprehensive physical products releases, with associated marketing assets; anything from cutting edge digital content and consumption initiatives to high-end physical products, including multi-format artist box sets as well as reissue campaigns, and branded series with associated marketing campaigns.
  • To ensure all creative, campaign and commercial objectives are delivered according to the agreed artist / repertoire strategy.
  • To work both autonomously and collaboratively within a core repertoire team of seven (based in various territories) alongside all the other functions of a forward-thinking, service-oriented contemporary music company.
  • To develop relationships with all key stakeholders, including artist managers.
  • To support team members and complete administrative tasks where required.
  • To work with external PR teams and media partners, co-ordinating marketing domestically and internationally.

About You.

  • You have previous record company product and marketing experience.
  • You are interested in music and record industry developments.
  • You have strong communication skills and attention to detail.
  • You are highly organised with the ability to handle high volume, conflicting priorities.
  • You build relationships both internally and externally with ease and discretion.
  • You always maintain confidentiality of high-profile projects and assets.
  • You are proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite, Dropbox/file sharing, streaming platforms etc.

It's a plus if you are knowledgeable about rock and metal music and have an interest in social media and technology.
