Job Description

The Cloud Advancement & Transformation Solutions organization is committed to enabling JPMC's Global Technology Line of Business (LOB) customers to unlock the value of the public cloud and serving as strategic partners on their public cloud journeys. In your role as a Client Solutions lead, you will leverage your understanding of public cloud technologies and complex program management to understand your Line of Business (LOB) customer's strategic business objectives and drive the implementation to success by working with the client, the GT teams and our partners to deliver value-driven solutions that maximize the power of the Cloud.

The successful candidate will have a strong ability to both ideate opportunities and solutions and bring them to life through collaborative effective execution. Specifically, the role of Strategic Client Solutions lead is to:

  • Partner with our LOB clients to develop and execute a strategic roadmap for cloud services and transformation (including migration / modernization, optimization of cloud footprint, etc.) to ensure that the outcomes, requirements, and dependencies of each investment are understood and to drive alignment with business objectives and associated technology requirements
  • Work with the Enablement Technology (GTI, CTC, CTO, CPS) leadership teams to ensure that business priorities are clearly understood, that the required work is prioritized and managed through to delivery and that any conflicts or issues in terms of prioritization, design or execution are identified early and addressed or escalated for resolution before impacting delivery
  • Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of cloud migration projects and other organizational initiatives from ideation through execution and provide transparency of outcomes, and progress towards those outcomes, to the GT Leadership team and relevant business leadership on a continuous basis
  • Manage early identification, escalation and closure of risks, dependencies, or other challenges to successful cloud adoption for in-scope initiatives
  • Work closely with Cloud product teams to influence product strategy to support in-scope investment programs and optimize migration speed, end-product quality and cost and risk management
  • Foster strong relationships with product, engineering, operations, regulatory, security, and compliance teams to ensure seamless coordination and alignment of cloud initiatives with overall business, technology, operations, and compliance strategies
  • Stay up to date with cloud industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices. Leverage such industry knowledge to drive innovation within the organization by proposing and implementing new cloud-based solutions that enhance operational efficiency and customer experience.
  • Plan and execute senior-level meetings, end-to-end planning of events, providing agendas, insights, and analysis to assist in strategic discussions ensuring successful outcomes

The qualifications of the ideal candidate will include:

  • 5+ years of relevant Public Cloud experience, including experience managing application and platform migrations to the public cloud, ideally in AWS
  • 5+ years of Program/portfolio management, business management or strategy experience
  • Experience leading large-scale, technical or engineering programs with a proven record of thought leadership, business case development, realizing customer benefits, and successful program completion
  • Possess strong understanding of cloud services, infrastructure, and migration tools.
  • Comfortable with a fluid business environment, changing job priorities, and working with people at a variety of levels with the ability to work independently and/or in a group
  • Strong execution skills; extensive experience managing complex delivery across multiple workstreams and varying timelines / priorities
  • Experience operating in an agile methodology and with agile tools, such as Jira and Jira Align
  • Proven ability to build strong, trusted relationships - with the ability to influence people at all levels across a broad variety of job functions
  • Structured thinker, effective communicator with excellent written communication skills. Ability to crisply articulate complex tough messages to senior audiences with poise and confidence
  • Demonstrated background of engaging on diversity and inclusion
  • Proven experience in discretion in handling highly sensitive issues
  • BS/BA degree or equivalent experience
