Product Manager - Mobile App - 12 Month FTC

We have a well-established mobile team based in London, packed with talented and dedicated people who are building and developing mobile technology and experience for our 20 million customers across the world. The core of our focus is on our multi-award winning mobile apps, which have seen millions of downloads and are used by hundreds of thousands of our customers every month.

This role is being offered on an initial 12 Month Fixed Term Contract

ABOUT THE ROLE

  • Identify new opportunities and work closely with business stakeholders and relevant mobility lead roles to develop, prioritise, and agree the detailed global product roadmap for our Experiences, Attractions and Tickets (EAT) and Accomodation Only (AO) areas of the TUI app over the next 12 months, and its wider vision over the next three years.
  • Work with Stakeholders, Solution Architects, Design and Technical Leads to run high-level discoveries on ideas. Use the output from the discoveries plus other commercial / business case information to decide which ideas to progress and plan into the Roadmap.
  • Support the Product Owner and mobility leads to develop, refine, and prioritise the product backlog across all areas and markets
  • Support Product Owner with feature delivery through your scrum team. Collaborate with UX/UI designers to develop best-in-class user journeys & designs.
  • Provide line and task management for the EAT and AO Product Owners. Co-ordinate team activity, regularly review activity and ensure all Stories and assets are produced to a high standard. Support team members develop their skills; coach and/or give expert guidance as appropriate.
  • Take ownership of relevant KPIs ensuring all developments are aligned to drive performance and have clear metrics and targets. Develop a roadmap and backlog in conjunction with the Product Owners to address under-performing metrics.
  • Liaise with key stakeholders across the TUI Musement and AO business areas, building strong working relations. Produce regular updates on development progress, KPI performance, and comms for governance meetings
  • Understand TUI's customer segments and behaviours. Use this insight to inform and influence plans and development around KPIs and user experience.

ABOUT YOU

  • Exceptional product management skills, owning and managing the Product Roadmap for a global product portfolio which is aligned with strategic goals and delivers the required KPIs
  • Exceptional commercial awareness, able to deliver commercial outcomes whilst still delivering for customers
  • Strong numeracy skills, able to digest and track KPIs and manipulate simple spreadsheets
  • Strong project management skills, able to deliver complex plans of work across multiple markets, functions and business units
  • Strong customer focus; championing the needs of our customers travelling with us in every feature
  • Strong stakeholder engagement; quick at developing trusted working relationships across complex business boundaries
  • Strong communication and influencing skills, able to analyse and communicate technical concepts to create practical solutions and influence decisions
  • Proven and significant experience in product, digital or e-commerce positions
  • Experience working using agile methodologies in product development
  • Experience working with and developing consumer-facing digital technologies, particularly apps
  • Ideally have experience managing a small team and developing team-members
