We design, manufacture and distribute market leading workwear, safety wear and PPE in fully owned production facilities.
JOB TITLE: Product Manager - Hand Protection
EMPLOYMENT STATUS: Full Time
JOB SUMMARY:
As a Product Manager for our Hand Protection range, you will work with the wider team to grow our range and deliver best in class hand protection products. Your responsibilities include enhancing existing products, introducing new products to meet market demands, and serving as the product line expert. Additionally, you'll provide support in bringing customised product to market for specific projects.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conduct research for and develop your product range.
- Create detailed technical specifications.
- Present concepts and products to senior management and global sales representatives.
- Collaborate with sales team to fulfil customer orders based on specific customer requirements.
- Negotiate prices with suppliers, ensuring a balance between value and quality.
- Coordinate with overseas partners and test houses to verify product accuracy and compliance with certification criteria.
- Exercise attention to detail to maintain consistent high-quality product standards.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 3-5 years' experience in gloves/hand protection or a related field (E.g. PPE, Health and Safety Industry)
- Demonstrate experience in managing multiproduct portfolios.
- Have knowledge of relevant certifications and standards
- Excellent Microsoft office skills, particularly Excel & PowerPoint
- Have working knowledge of Adobe packages (preferred)
- Commercial acumen to identify products with strong sales potentialand critically analyse range performance
- Experience liaising with colleagues and partners based overseas
- Educated to degree level or have equivalent experience from relatable industries.
