DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a Product Manager to support the Execution Product team in EU. In this role, you will be focused on supporting the growth of Amazon Freight's pilot program enabling the transportation of Dangerous Goods. You will do this by partnering with internal AF teams - commercial, operations, legal, global product and tech teams (engineers, data scientists)- and with external Amazon teams - EU Dangerous Good compliance team - to define the short, mid, and long-term strategy to expand the program. You will own and drive key performance metrics to support shipper experience, and you will collect regulatory and business requirements and translate them to corresponding processes or tech needs. The main priority of this role is turn this pilot into a standard service offering for the business.
Key job responsibilities
• Create and manage program and product strategy and roadmap for Dangerous Goods Pilot
• Own and deliver on program performance metrics, conduct pilot performance reviews
• Lead cross-functional teams to achieve roadmap milestones
• Conduct analysis, effectively communicate complex findings and recommendations with senior leadership, cross-functional teams, and global stakeholders, foster strong relationships and drive consensus.
• Design analytical approach, deliver findings using data, visualizations, and effective storytelling techniques
• Create new tools and business processes that simplify, standardize, and enable sustainable growth & performance of this program
A day in the life
- Every day is different as a PM. You'll work independently and collaboratively on projects, which may be at different stages of the lifecycle, from development to delivery. You might spend your morning gathering data and feedback to assess a pilot, then spend your afternoon discussing a launch plan . You will collaborate with other teams, track project progress, and share updates.
- You are a problem solver and excel at breaking down complex problems into solvable pieces.
- You are tech and data savvy, speak with data to come up meaningful insights
- You are comfortable working in a startup environment and capable of dealing with ambiguity
- You are confident communicator and can effectively drive consensus within the team.

Amazon Freight is part of the Amazon Transportation Services organization responsible for many of Amazon's best-in-class logistics and transportation operations.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition, results-oriented
- Experience with end to end product delivery
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
- Experience owning technology products, feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
- Experience in product or program management, , business development, technology, or supply-chain/transportation
- Experience in influencing senior leadership through data driven insights
- Experience working with the MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook), SQL and Python in a professional environment
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Prior Experience in Supply Chain Management and/or start-up environment
- Prior experience working in Product Management or Consulting.
- Experience working across functional teams and senior stakeholders
