Our teams of technical experts specialize in harnessing live sporting data, using advanced cloud technologies, Java, JavaScript and Python. It is these tech teams that enable us to extract patterns through AI and Machine Learning and deliver our insights via APIs. In short, they turn complex data into magical experiences with cutting-edge technology.

Responsibilities:

  • Own the full product development lifecycle of Stats Perform's D2C products, including Opta Analyst
  • Drive user base growth by strategizing and implementing diverse content initiatives, including gamification, social media, and written content
  • Design and execute first and zero-party data collection strategies
  • Collaborate closely with the Stats Perform's product, data editorial and content team to define content strategy and plan to further establish our D2C platforms as the go to destinations for fans for premium content
  • Drive the monetization strategy of Stats Perform's D2C platforms, optimizing revenue through diverse channels such as affiliate marketing, programmatic ads, and sponsored content.
  • Actively gather and incorporate feedback from users, clients, and internal teams to continually refine and enhance the content and functionality of our D2C websites
  • Utilize data analytics tools to track and report on user behaviour across D2C platforms and gamification, employing tools like Google Analytics or similar platforms to collect, analyse, and interpret user interaction data to inform product improvements
  • Act as a subject matter expert on Stats Perform Media products, assisting the Product team by contributing to B2B deliverables
  • Regularly analyze and report on advertising and monetization performance, utilizing metrics and KPIs to evaluate the success of

Required Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated success in product management, particularly in overseeing D2C platforms.
  • Extensive knowledge in digital advertising and monetization strategies, including experience with affiliate marketing, programmatic ads, and sponsored content
  • Experience in developing and implementing user acquisition strategies
  • In-depth knowledge of sports data, data feeds, and their strategic application within the media sector, especially in relation to D2C products.
  • Proficiency in managing technical workflows and leading complex technical projects, with a particular focus on media and D2C products.
  • Proficiency in data analytics tools like Google Analytics
  • Familiarity with tools such as Aha! and Jira, showcasing effective planning and execution skills.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with Opta Data and its application in enhancing D2C sports products and content strategies.
  • Deep understanding of sports, particularly in Football, Rugby, Cricket, Basketball, American Football, and Baseball, to inform content development and user engagement strategies for D2C platforms.
