  • End-to-End Execution: Own the day-to-day product logic for global money movement, ensuring reliable and accurate fund delivery to merchants
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Build strong working relationships with Engineering, Treasury, Finance, and Operations to translate complex financial requirements into technical specifications
  • Process Optimisation: Identify and implement improvements to drive efficiency and reduce manual intervention across the settlement flow of configuration, generation, execution and reporting
  • Requirement Scoping: Define clear user stories and functional requirements for new settlement features, ensuring they align with Compliance, Legal, and Treasury constraints
  • Data & Reporting: Improve the quality of settlement data provided to clients, ensuring they have the transparency needed for easy reconciliation
  • Subject Matter Expertise: Become the go-to person for how Client funds move through our systems, providing insights to internal teams to help solve complex client settlement issues
  • Customer Centricity: Develop a deep understanding of merchant needs to ensure our settlement options remain competitive and flexible
  • Gain a deep understanding of Checkout.com's customers, be them end-customers or developers, and businesses themselves.
  • Build strong relationships across your network, particularly with engineering. You foster a team culture that upholds Checkout.com's operating principles.

Qualifications

  • Product Management Experience: Proven experience in product management, specifically within fintech, payments, or financial services, with a track record of delivering complex features to market
  • Treasury Flow Expertise: A strong understanding of end-to-end treasury workflows, specifically how liquidity positioning interacts with settlement obligations across different regions and currencies
  • Familiarity with the payments industry is beneficial, but secondary to a deep understanding of Operations and Treasury constraints and how they enable a scalable product.
  • Process Automation: Proven experience in driving the automation of core treasury functions, including the generation, approval, and execution of settlement instructions to reduce manual intervention
  • Data-driven: Skilled at leveraging data and business insights to determine strategic priorities and drive the product roadmap and execution.
  • Customer-first: Think from the customer's perspective and can balance future opportunities with immediate needs
  • End-to-end mindset: Think in a structured and diligent manner, understanding all key components necessary to drive the ongoing success of a product.
  • Stakeholder Management: You can navigate complex commercial requirements, balance customer needs with internal operational scalability, and negotiate across competing priorities with multiple teams
