Job Description

Summary

We are looking for a Product Manager to manage our digital product portfolio.

Leading an engineering and design-based squad who manage part of the M&S app, you will develop a deep understanding of customer needs and ability to translate those into tangible business value. Working across the entire Product Lifecycle from discovery to delivery and growth / mature phases - you will bring expertise from previous product management roles that have focused on app development. Working closely with key partners in the business, UX, technology and product, you will be responsible for the backlog and roadmap for your area. You will be able to drive meaningful outcomes through your fluency with data and your ability to iterate features and experiment where necessary.

Please note this role is a 12 month fixed term contract.

What you'll do

• Own the product life cycle, from initial discovery and ideation through to execution and delivery
• Data literate, managing your own dashboards and experiments
• Ability to create clear hypothesis and success metrics for your ideas and features
• Capable of leading your squad with multiple capabilities to deliver complex customer facing products.

Who you are

• Over 3 years' experience in product management (ideally most of this working with Apps), demonstrating successful development and delivery of product strategies, roadmaps through to product launch and optimisation
• Experience of managing successful delivery in an Agile software environment to deliver customer-led outcomes
• Excellent communication skills and strong experience in dealing with business stakeholders - relatability to non-technical business users and technical resources
• Excellent requirements / competitive analysis skills, pricing and financial planning
• You are a connector, bringing people together you help make improvements even in areas you do not own.
