Organisation: Eastern Shires Purchasing Organisation (ESPO)
Work Location: Barnsdale Way, Grove Park, Enderby, Leicester, LE19 1ES
Salary: £33,060 - £36,660 per annum (pro-rata for part-time)
Working Hours: 37 Hours per week, Full time
Contract Type: Internal Secondment/ Fixed Term - Period 6 months.

About the Role
As a Product Manager the successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, developing and implementing products for a range of catalogue products within defined product categories. Meeting current customer expectations and future demands and that products are in line with industry standards/best practice. Building strong relationship with catalogue suppliers ensuring the SLA's/KPIs are adhered to.
About You
To apply for this post, you must:
- Degree or equivalent qualification or demonstrable experience in this field.
- Experience of product management in a medium size organisation preferably related to catalogue product merchandising.
- Experience in Supplier Relationship Management methodology and practice with supplies of all sizes in various market places.
- Proven track record of managing workloads to meet deadlines - a key aspect of catalogue product range development.
- An ability to interpret analysis of data sets, reports, feedback and trends etc and develop product ranges based on this on knowledge.
- Product category/portfolio knowledge required in at least one key market sector. Experience in Stationery and Arts and Crafts preferable.
- Excellent communications skills; the role involves significant interface and liaison with customers, stakeholders, suppliers, internal teams, Competence in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and the ability to manage time effectively to meet deadlines.
