Requirements & Responsibilities

  • Product Strategy and Vision: Develop a clear product vision and strategy based on market research, customer insights, and business goals. Define the product roadmap and prioritise features and enhancements.
  • Requirements Gathering and Analysis: Collaborate with stakeholders, customers, and cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into detailed product specifications. Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify market trends and opportunities.
  • Product Development and Execution: Work closely with engineering, design, and other teams to ensure the successful development and launch of products. Define and manage project timelines, milestones, and deliverables. Conduct user acceptance testing and gather feedback to iterate and improve the product.
  • Stakeholder Management: Communicate product plans, progress, and updates to stakeholders, including executives, marketing, sales, and customer support teams. Collaborate with these teams to align product strategies and ensure effective go-to-market strategies.
  • User Experience (UX) and Design: Advocate for user-centric design principles and ensure that the product provides a seamless and intuitive user experience. Collaborate with UX/UI designers to create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes.
  • Product Analytics and Metrics: Define key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of the product. Use data and analytics tools to track product performance, user behaviour, and customer feedback. Make data-driven decisions to optimise and improve the product.
  • Product Launch and Marketing: Plan and execute product launches, including developing marketing collateral, conducting market research, and coordinating with sales and marketing teams to drive product adoption and customer acquisition.
  • Product Lifecycle Management: Monitor and manage the product throughout its lifecycle, from ideation to retirement. Evaluate market trends, competition, and customer needs to make recommendations on product enhancements, updates, and retirements.

It would also be beneficial if you had any experience with:

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Deep understanding of product development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum)
  • Knowledge of market research and competitive analysis
  • Experience with user experience (UX) design principles
  • Proficiency in project management and collaboration tools
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Familiarity with product analytics and data-driven decision making
  • Business acumen and strategic thinking
  • Prior experience in product management or related roles is often required.
