Job Description

Informa Connect is seeking an experienced Product Manager to oversee the migration of new business acquisitions to our existing products and platforms, as well as manage division requirements for shared internal systems. This role involves close collaboration with the Head of Product and various cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and alignment with our strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategy & Roadmap Development: Collaborate with the Head of Product to define and develop product strategy, roadmaps, and success metrics for various initiatives across Informa Connect.
  • Mergers & Acquisitions: Serve as the product lead for new mergers and acquisitions, identifying product requirements and managing systems integration.
  • Product Improvement & Monetization: Contribute to business cases for new products and enhancements to existing ones, inline with monetization strategies.
  • Backlog & Prioritization: Prioritize product features, manage the backlog, and own the product roadmap, influencing third-party solutions as necessary.
  • Requirement Gathering and communication: Gather business requirements to inform internal systems development, new features and platform roadmaps.
  • Third-Party Management: Identify, evaluate, and manage third-party software providers to meet current and future needs.
  • Site Migrations: Lead site migrations, gathering requirements, creating gap analyses, and liaising with relevant teams.
  • User Feedback & Research: Develop methods for continuous user feedback collection and integrate findings into product strategy.
  • OKRs & KPIs: Contribute to and own OKRs and KPIs for relevant products.
  • User Experience: Work with UX, research, and product teams to define user journeys, develop concepts, and test prototypes.
  • Platform Integration: Ensure full integration of all platform ecosystem elements, including commercial aspects.
  • Subject Matter Expertise: Act as a subject matter expert, guiding and supporting colleagues.
  • Customer Engagement: Engage with customers to deeply understand their needs and use insights to influence product decisions.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with engineering, design, marketing, sales, and customer success teams to manage dependencies and ensure successful product rollouts.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a product manager, preferably in the information services sector. Experience managing internal systems.
  • Experience in acquisition integration and managing internal systems is a plus.
  • Ability to rapidly acquire domain expertise in market, business lines, product design, and technology platforms.
  • Demonstrable commercial expertise and understanding of finance, analytics, and marketing.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to form, lead, and develop cross-functional teams.
  • Experience in fostering an iterative, test-and-learn culture.

Skills:

  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in product management frameworks and methodologies. Experience working in Jira, a plus.
  • Strong analytical skills with a data-driven mindset.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
