ABOUT CHOREOGRAPH OPTIMIZATION PRODUCTS
We're a team within Choreograph that's focussed on optimizing the impact that advertising has for audiences and the brands that we work with. We do this by optimising media buying, and employing dynamic creative, to deliver impactful and relevant messages. Getting these to the right audience, on the right medium, at moments and locations that matter, via channels and for a budget that is optimal for the brands we work with.
This role will work primarily on our Creative Optimization product, an omnichannel dynamic creative optimization (DCO) platform, that enables brands to power ads (e.g. images, videos, copy) across a range of channels (display, social, online video, connected TV) with dynamic data (e.g. location, weather, events) in real-time, turning a single creative concept into thousands of unique stories. We utilise AI to optimize for the best performing content, helping advertisers to tell the right story at the right time, and audiences to see messages that matter.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Product Implementation Director to lead the execution and support of our dynamic creative (DCO) product, Creative Optimizations. This role is critical in ensuring the seamless onboarding, deployment, and optimization of sophisticated advertising campaigns being managed by GroupM ad-ops and activation specialists. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of (and hands-on experience with) ad tech platforms - particularly ad servers, dynamic creative platforms, DSP's and social platforms. We are looking for a senior problem solver capable of navigating and resolving complex technical and operational challenges, whilst upskilling the rest of the team with their experience and knowledge sharing.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Oversee and support the implementation and execution of dynamic creative campaigns for GroupM advertisers globally.
- Alongside client managers, serve as the primary point of contact for users, providing technical leadership, troubleshooting expertise, and strategic guidance for complex advertising campaigns.
- Partner with product, engineering, sales, and client management teams to troubleshoot technical issues, and ensure high client satisfaction.
- Develop and refine best practices for campaign setup, creative decisioning logic, and ad-serving workflows.
- Provide training and documentation for internal teams and external clients on best practices and implementation strategies.
- Mentor a team of technical implementation specialists, fostering a culture of problem-solving, innovation, and client-centric solutions.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
- Experience with advertising technology is a must, with ad serving, dynamic creative (DCO), and programmatic experience highly desired.
- Deep expertise in ad servers (Google, Flashtalking, Adform, etc.).
- Strong knowledge of programmatic advertising, creative personalization, data-driven ad strategies.
- Proven ability to diagnose and resolve technical campaign issues, working cross-functionally with engineering, product, and client teams.
- Experience with JavaScript, HTML5, APIs, and tag management systems is a plus.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills, strategic thinking, and ability to handle high-pressure situations.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into actionable solutions.
- Strong leadership capabilities, with experience mentoring teams.
