As a Product Director in our Employee Platforms organisation, you lead innovation through the development of products and features that delight customers. As a leader on the team, you leverage your advanced capabilities to challenge traditional approaches, remove barriers to success, and foster a culture of continuous innovation that helps inspire cross-functional teams create ground-breaking solutions that address customer needs. You will be part of the Business Collaboration Controls and Workflows product area, where you will be responsible for the product strategy of "Glassbox".

"Glassbox aspires to provide an industry leading regulatory business controls & workflow capability for the firm's record retention of electronic and voice communications. Through automated, data-driven, self-service controls and workflows the firm's Controls, Compliance & Audit organizations are empowered to maintain oversight, meet regulatory obligations, reduce associated risk and help to protect the firm's reputation"

Job responsibilities

  • Responsible for leading the "Glassbox" product portfolio, through a team of product managers driving customer success and delivery to our clients through prioritization of the engineering teams' backlog
  • Working with Product and Engineering peers as well as Compliance and Line of Business Controls stakeholders to define product requirements and strategy. Maintaining alignment to the broader technology strategies of "Modernization" and "Protect the firm"
  • Adopt product line standards utilizing Lucid, Jira Align and Jira. Formalizing delivery of objectives and key results through creation of roadmaps, prioritized through Initiatives, Epics and Stories
  • Build and lead teams that operate within a product construct and coach them in developing new skills and advance in their careers
  • Creating a product culture of customer success, delivery and ensuring teams have the ability to innovate and fail whilst learning
  • Oversees the product roadmap, vision, development, execution, risk management, and business growth targets
  • Leads the entire product life cycle through planning, execution, and future development by continuously adapting, developing new products and methodologies, managing risks, and achieving business targets like cost, features, reusability, and reliability to support growth
  • Coaches and mentors the product team on best practices, such as solution generation, market research, storyboarding, mind-mapping, prototyping methods, product adoption strategies, and product delivery, enabling them to effectively deliver on objectives
  • Owns product performance and is accountable for investing in enhancements to achieve business objectives
  • Monitors market trends, conducts competitive analysis, and identifies opportunities for product differentiation

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Expert applied experience and expertise delivering products, projects, or technology applications, with an emphasis on delivering voice and electronic communication retention solutions to end users and control functions
  • Extensive knowledge of the product development life cycle, technical design, and data analytics. Experience providing roadmaps, product overviews, reports, backlog, and documentation for enterprise technology solutions.
  • Understanding of software development methodologies and practices for both internal custom software developments and external vendor software deployments
  • Knowledge of mobile and voice communication platforms and retention systems deployed within the financial services industry; NICE NTR/X, Compass, RedBox, Cloud Native, IPC Unigy, Cloud 9, Mobile voice recording (1Global, Movius), SMS & Chat capture (WhatsApp, WeCom) and retention, storage technologies, Assurance controls (record completeness), user inventory management and provisioning
  • Proven ability to influence the adoption of key product life cycle activities including discovery, ideation, strategic development, requirements definition, and value management
  • Experience driving change within organizations and managing stakeholders across multiple functions
  • Ability to negotiate priorities with customers, UX teams, engineering and dependent teams
  • Track record of building and managing vendor relationship to drive delivery and new product development
  • Experience in managing scaled global products, large P&Ls and risk portfolios
  • Knowledge of technology standards, industry trends, and emerging technology
  • Experience in JIRA/JIRA Align, Lucid Spark / Chart
