The team...
The ITV Interactive team is responsible for creating and managing interactive elements and digital experiences for our programmes and viewers. We create fresh interactive features for our live and pre-recorded broadcasts, as well as through ITV Win (itv.com/win) which allow viewers to interact with our content and create experiences that complement ITV's linear television programming.
The role...
An opportunity has arisen for a Producer to join the ITV Interactive team. You will be working across our Daytime shows, Good Morning Britain, Lorraine, This Morning, and Loose Women. You will be responsible for creating innovative competition output for pre-recorded and live transmissions. You will also be working from a creative brief alongside the production team to deliver content, on time, to budget and to the highest quality. Aiming to deliver content that achieves a high level of interactivity whilst maintaining editorial cohesion.
Skills you'll need (minimum criteria)
- You must be a Producer/Director with proven experience in a similar role
- Experience of basic offline edits and an understanding of editing software
- Able to demonstrate the ability to write and structure multiple scripts for TV in order to present informative and engaging content within the time restraints
- Working and directing on-screen talent both established and nurturing new talent
- Previous development experience and the ability to set up new ideas from proposal to on-screen.
Other things we're looking for (key criteria)
- Ability to multitask and prioritising workload
- Proven experience working with and managing multiple stakeholders
- Possess a strong creative and editorial judgement as well as a commitment to fulfilling ITV's commercial requirements and goals
- Experience/Understanding of Live TV Studio & Outside Broadcasts
- Understanding of news and tabloid magazine shows aimed at an ITV Audience and making short snappy engaging content
- Imaginative flair, the ability to initiate and to interpret compelling ideas and develop these into innovative competitions
