We're hiring for a Procurement Specialist to join our team in London, working across the Enterprise Technology sector.

Purpose of the Role

As Procurement Specialist you'll be responsible for implementing new and existing projects in line with the strategic direction of the procurement category plans across the Enterprise Technology category.

You'll own initiatives across the technology category in line with the category plans of the Procurement Managers and support the Global Procurement Managers across key category initiatives through utilising strategic sourcing methodology and supplier/stakeholder management principles to deliver savings and service improvements in line with business

Strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the reporting and in life management of key vendors.
  • Support the generation, evolution and delivery of category plans.
  • Identify areas of potential focus for reducing spend across the global technology spend.
  • Design, build and update key reports used for tracking and monitoring, including providing analytical support on large scale initiatives.
  • Be proactive in identifying SRM initiatives within the technology category that require governance and ownership.
  • Provide supporting data to confirm cost reduction, including the breakdown of cost reduction into P&L impact, CAPEX/OPEX.

Qualifications + Skills

  • You'll have a minimum of 2 years procurement experience with end-to-end knowledge of the strategic sourcing process including; SRM, demand management, vendor management and an understanding of commercial process such as billing and purchase orders.
  • An understanding of IT procurement (software/tech) with a base understanding of commercial law with an understanding and experience of the industry standard strategic sourcing process.
  • Ability to design, implement and manage processes and governance to manage business behaviour.
  • Data driven approach and highly numeric with excellent data analysis and Excel skills with the ability to manage and shape large amounts of raw data to extract, prioritise and summarise distinct opportunities.
  • Ability to build strong stakeholder relationships internally and externally with strong verbal and written influencing skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritise to meet targets.

This is a permanent role. The team is based in our London office but operates under flexible working arrangements. The team are currently in the office every Wednesday.
